Ways to Order Repeat Medication
You can order your medication any of the following ways:
- By emailing: nrsb.scripts@nhs.net
- By completing a Repeat Prescription Form
- Via the NHS App
- Call our dedicated prescription phone line on 01527 575800 selecting option 3. Please note this line is open 11:00am to 1:00pm Monday to Friday and does get busy. Where possible, one of the above options is preferred
- In person. Please post your request in our dedicated prescription box located in main reception
Prescription requests will take 2 working days to be processed by the surgery. Please check processing times with your pharmacy. This will be additional to our 2 working days.
Nominating a Pharmacy
Nominating a pharmacy to electronically receive your prescription direct from the surgery saves everyone time.
This can be changed one of the following ways:

Questions about your Prescription
Contact the surgery if you would like to speak to someone about your prescription. Our in house pharmacy team can answer your questions.
Your local community pharmacists can also answer any questions about your prescription along with information on medicines you can buy without a prescription.

As qualified healthcare professionals, they can offer clinical advice and over-the-counter medicines for a range of minor illnesses, such as coughs, colds, sore throats, tummy trouble and aches and pains. Click here for further information.
Medication Reviews
How often are mediction reviews?
- Patients on repeat medication will be invited to see a clinician at least once a year
What is the medication review for?
- This is to check your regular medications with one of our clinical team, to make sure you are still on the best medication for you
We will contact you
- You may be contacted by SMS or text on your mobile phone asking you to book an appointment. If you do not have a mobile phone, we will let you know by adding a message on your repeat prescription slip, or by sending you a letter
When should I book an appointment?
- Book an appointment as soon as you can. This will stop any problems happening with your repeat prescriptions. Remember the practice is closed at weekends and Bank Holidays. See our opening times on our contact page
